What is a 'furry'?

In general, it is a person who is a part of a fandom of those who enjoy subjects and media based around anthropomorphic animals and creatures.

 

They also tend to just like animals in general. Many within the fandom enjoy creating their own original characters and some of them like going as far as having a costume made based on their original design. Some enjoy creating stories together in what's known as "role play".

But isn't 'furry' a....fetish?

The adult side of the fandom could be compared to hentai's relation to the anime fandom. It is a section of the fandom (yes, quite a large section I will admit) but not the whole. Most fandoms have an adult section, you'll find, no matter the subject. Rule 34 etc etc.

But aren't furries into..like...bestiality? They want to copulate with their dog?

Good heavens NO. Anyone who is found to participate in animal cruelty of any kind, especially in this nature, is shunned and kicked out of the fandom after being reported to the authorities.

Do you have a fursuit?

Not anymore. I did briefly a couple of years ago, but it didn't end up really being my thing and so I sold it.

No.

No, though some tame sexy pinups are alright. Nothing you wouldn't see in public.

So are you even a furry, then?

Funnily enough I don't really think of myself as one, however I've gotten far too involved in the fandom to argue. I am a fan of animals, fantasy creatures and art. My "Naira Wolf" character is somewhat like a mascot-style representation of myself, which could still be considered a "fursona". If you think I'm a furry, then sure, I guess I am! Labels man, who really cares?

Oh, okay then....so what kind of games do you play?

Most games I personally enjoy playing have some level of RPG. I also mostly play single-player games, besides any games that I might co-op with my friend Icey. For the purposes of my channel, I'd like to play games that mostly involve animals and fantasy creatures, leaning towards the anthropomorphic kind. I rarely play horror games as I am a massive chicken shit, but people seem to really enjoy that so I guess more horror is on the way. If there's a furry mod for a game, I'll install it.

Can you tell me more about your cat, Angel?

I got her for Christmas when I was about 10, making her almost 20 years old when she passed away on the 6th of July, 2019. She was about 80% blind, very slow and bumbled her way about the house getting her whiskers bent out of shape. She slept most of the time and was secretly full of rage and spite. She was a short hair tabby. She's also included in my Twitch emotes.

I'll be 30 in 2020! They call me "mother wolf" in the chat, but I'm practically a grandma at this point.

 

Okay Granny, so what consoles do you play games on?

For now, PC only. I do not own an Xbox One or Nintendo Switch. I do have a PS4, but not a capture card so I can't be bothered trying to record or stream games on there, yet. I might in the future.
